AFEW x Mizuno MXR

The MXR reflects Mizuno's desire to revive the retro running feel of the 2000s as an extension of the world-renowned Wave Rider 10. The name MXR comes from the Maximizer line, a running shoe series long established in the domestic market and designed to make Mizuno quality accessible to a wider audience.

For the collaboration between AFEW and Mizuno for the MXR "OAG3", several unique design elements were introduced, including a custom-made toebox, a custom tongue design, an additional speed lacing system, heel bubble branding, custom midsole branding, themed insole artwork, and asymmetrical Runbird branding on the medial and lateral sides.
