In 1974, Converse released a low-top suede version of the Chuck Taylor All Star with a simple but significant design change—a single star on the outside of the shoe. In the early 1990s, the relaunched One Star became a hit with the skate community. Today's One Star Pro features increased cushioning to help absorb impact, while its suede construction offers optimal durability and a classic look.
